Oh, Life...

Thanks to a dear friend o' mine, I have been kindly reminded to update this here blog.
Life has indeed been passing by at a rather slow yet very fast pace! I've always had mixed feelings about the summer and really, to be honest I'm not a fan of summer. Growing up in Vegas you would think I'm used to the heat but...no. It makes me grumpy and tired.

Well, Josh has been studying away in his class for summer which is coming to an end tomorrow! He just finished his lab final today and then he will march his handsome self back to school tomorrow to take his lecture final. And while this husband that I have has been taking this class that he has, he has also been working away at his job. Last time I mentioned Josh's job he was working in Moroni (about a half and hour away) at a boy's home for troubled teens. Since then, these people have built a location right here in Ephraim so Josh was able to transfer here! It's been quite splendid since he can now ride his bike to work.

We were really happy that Josh's brother Brett along with his wife Stacy and kids Olivia, Mallory, and Kale were able to come to Utah to come visit! They wern't able to make it to the wedding so it was really nice to meet them.

We are really excited for the fall semester to start. I'll be taking 9 credits while Joshua will be taking a whopping 18 credits! Prayers on his behalf would be much appreciated :) And while I take classes I will also be working in the mail room at the school which shouldn't be too bad at all.

Some things Josh and I have learned in our 4 months of marriage:
1. Both of us don't mind doing laundry and both of us hate doing dishes.
2. If ever I make any kind of dessert we both take it upon ourselves as our duty to eat it all in one night. Not all attempts have been successful but we never let that get us down!
3. I have an abnormal love of toast and as such, Joshua has perfected making the perfect piece of toast. Josh has quite a liking for canned tuna/chicken sandwiches and as a result I believe I have developed quite a knack for making them.
4. Both of us have become quite grateful to Schuyler Wheeler for inventing the electric fan, seeing as our lovely little apartment does not have air conditioning.
5. I've learned I have taken close to zero pictures since we've been married...
