Update

Last time I posted, I explained Kaden's Torticollis and Plagiocephaly. So I thought I would just update a little bit about that.
Firstly, the Torticollis is almost gone! Kaden's physical therapist showed us some stretches and strengthening exercises that we have to do at home, so we've been doing those and we've been seeing some very good results. At our last appointment, the therapist said we are in the home stretch ( heh, get it?) and it shouldn't be too much longer until Kaden is pretty much done!
Now, the Plagiocephaly isn't going to be fixed as quickly. Kaden has gotten his helmet and he wears it 23 hours a day. Surprisingly enough, Kaden doesn't mind wearing it at all! Although, I think he gets a little itchy on his head from time to time (wouldn't you?) but I'd take that over him really hating his helmet any day! The length of time of Kaden wearing the helmet depends on how fast he grows out of it. The helmet is a little big right now, so the more he grows the faster his head will shape to fit the helmet. Get it? So, let's hope for a growth spurt here pretty soon!

Ain't he the cutest?! The helmet makes his face look all chunky.

  1. I'm glad the stretches worked so fast! That's got to be a relief. And as itchy and sad as that helmet probably seems.... he is stinkin adorable in it. I kind of love it! :)
