This is Halloween!

Halloween! Not my favorite holiday, but this was Kaden's very first All Hallows' Eve so I was a little more excited. 

The festivities started on Wednesday when we had our ward Trunk-or-Treat. 

Josh and I were lame and didn't dress up, but Kaden was a cute little cow! 

The ward served dinner before the Trunk-or-Treat so it got too late for Kaden to go around and get candy but it was fun anyway. 

Thursday night (actual Halloween) Josh had to work. Dumb. 

BUT Kaden and I still got to have a little fun. My old roommates and I got together to go Trick-or-Treating with Kaden! We headed up to my roommate Kaylee Ray's house where her dad sets up this whole thing where he makes ghosts fly around their cul de sac. 

Funny thing is when Lorielle and I got to Kaylee Ray's house I realized I forgot Kaden's Halloween costume...Bad mom award. But Kaylee Ray's family being the wonderful people they are, dug through their Halloween costumes and found a lion costume that fit Kaden perfectly! 

So really, by me forgetting Kaden's costume, he actually got to be TWO animals for Halloween! Score. 

We didn't go trick or treating for long but we managed to get a nice amount of candy for me and josh :D 

After that, we decided to go and surprise our roommate that couldn't come because she had to work. 

Then we headed back to my house to put the baby to bed and Lorielle, Kaylee Ray and I watched Hocus Pocus ( the ultimate Halloween movie) and Monsters University. 

Overall, a very good Halloween.
