Thanksgiving and catch up

I swear I'm a very consistent person, just not on this blog :)

Thanksgiving = FOOD!
We took our very first road trip with Kaden down to Vegas to have Thanksgiving with my family. We went down a week early because Josh couldn't get work off.
So, the trip from Orem to Las Vegas is about 6ish hours, not too bad right? I seriously started planning for this trip like a month in advance because I was kind of nervous about how Kaden would do on the road but he actually didn't do too bad! The weather was a little crappy and we got caught behind a semi-truck accident but other than that I would call it a success!
Kaden got to finally meet one of my sisters who lives in Delaware as well as a bunch of my extended family. I got to see a lot of friends that I hadn't seen in a while which was grand. We had a lot of fun, ate a LOT of food, and Josh and I got to relax while everyone fawned all over Kaden.

But in other news!
Kaden got his helmet off!!!!! Honestly, it's a little weird. I was so used to him wearing it, that I keep double-taking when I see that he's not wearing it. But I really am glad that he has it off and we don't have to deal with that anymore.
