Please accept my most sincerest apologies. I never meant to neglect you, blog.
But life just happens. And it happens so gosh darn fast.
So to make it up, I shall write a special list of random thoughts/things that have been happening lately. Just for you.
Here we go.
1. Originally we were moving to Ogden so that Josh could go to Weber State. They have excellent programs there. But guess who changed his mind? The Lord, that's who. He has decided to send us to the great and strange land of Orem, Utah. To go to UVU. I suppose I'm okay with it, am I jumping for joy at the prospect of living in 'happy valley'? No, not really. I've never seen myself as some one living in Utah. But here I am. A Utard. Have been for a while now, I have the driver's license and everything. Can you tell I have some issues with living in Utah?
2. My house isn't clean. If you've read my previous blog posts then you know how much of an issue this is for me. But I've come to terms with it. Sort of. I still have to have my house at a certain level of cleanliness, enough for the spirit to reside, but since having Kaden I've realized that you will never get everything done. Not with kids. So just do the important things, assign your husband a few things to do, and leave the rest. Enjoy your life. It'll all get done eventually.
3. Kaden. That cute boy. He's almost 9 weeks and he's growing really well, he's 10lbs now! That's about twice the size he was when he was born. He is such a smiley baby and definitely a mama's boy. It actually took him a while to warm up to Josh. He's definitely getting more vocal, making baby sounds and such.
4. I've decided I will never find a show as good as Gilmore Girls. It's quite the sad discovery. With every show I watch I compare it to Gilmore Girls, the writing, the characters, the plot, etc. I've settled on watching Psych for now. I have a lot of seasons to go through, so that should keep me occupied for a while.
5. We had Kaden's baby blessing on the 24th of March. He was wayyyy too small for his blessing outfit so a white onsie was what he wore. Josh did an awesome job with the blessing. It's a little hard to believe that this little boy is going to grow up. Josh and I firmly believe that if Kaden wants to stay a baby forever then he should be allowed to because he's such a good one.
7. Advice for pregnant moms-to-be: Get your hair done before you have the baby. I just barely got my hair cut and colored. It took me 8 weeks to get around to it. You'll be glad you did it before hand.
8. Kaden got his shots today... my goodness he was a little trouper. He cried for maybe a minute, then just fell right to sleep. I was prepared for the worst and thank goodness it wasn't bad.
9. I commend whoever understands my post title.
10. Pictures of Kaden for your enjoyment.
SUCH a happy baby! I can't wait to meet that sweet little Kaden. I am SO glad you have a blog Jenni. I can't say that enough. It's the perfect way to keep up with you and your precious family. Love you!
