Discoveries

I've already discovered a few things about Kaden...

 

1. I think he has stage fright.

Whenever he starts kicking and anyone goes to feel him kick, he'll stop.

Every. Single. Time. Without fail.

He'll even stop moving if I put my hand on him.

And because of this, Josh has only felt Kaden move probably twice.

It's a little sad, for Josh's sake.

It's also a little amusing to think about how this might carry on when he gets older.

Maybe he'll take after me and hate being the center of attention.

 

2. Kaden loves hot chocolate.

Whenever I drink hot chocolate, he starts bouncing around like crazy!

It's hilarious to me.

Josh says he kicks because he hates hot chocolate...

I say he kicks because he loves it.

Maybe he'll love hot chocolate when he gets older. Or hate it.

 

3. Kaden loves to hear Josh be musical. Not me, just Josh.

It's the weirdest thing!

Josh had a concert for his symphonic band class and Kaden did not stop kicking the whole time.

Now, you could probably just say that is a coincidence right?

Wrong!

A week or so later, Josh and I went to the Institute Choir concert, and at the end they invite Choir Alumni to come up and sing the last song with them.

Josh is an Alumni, so off he went to go sing.

And mind you, Kaden didn't really kick at all during the concert.

But as soon as Josh went up and started singing, he started bouncin' all over!

I suppose it could still be a coincidence...

but it's still a little funny.

 

So those are my recent discoveris :D

 

But Kaden is definitely getting a lot stronger! (I'm 30 weeks along right now)

He enjoys waking me up in the morning by giving me a couple good kicks.

He also gets a little disgruntled when I fold my arms over my belly for too long.

He'll start kickin' because I guess he doesn't like the pressure of my arms being there for an extended period of time.
